Tom Brady has built his career on excellence. A critical piece to sustaining his peak performance has been recovery, with a particular focus on sleep.
Now, Under Armour has partnered with Tom Brady to create the world’s most advanced sleep system that actually rebuilds your body while you rest. The key is the print on the inside of the Athlete Recovery Sleepwear, which leverages the power of Far Infrared.
Far Infrared is a type of energy on the infrared spectrum that has several benefits for the human body. TB12 technology was developed to harness it even when you’re resting. The soft bioceramic print on the inside of the garment absorbs the body’s natural heat and reflects Far Infrared back to the skin. This helps your body recover faster, promotes better sleep, reduces inflammation, and regulates cell metabolism.
Today at CES, Under Armour unveiled the brand’s first-ever Sleep & Recovery System, which includes a line of Athlete Recovery Sleepwear powered by TB12™ and a new UA Record™ app experience, both designed to improve sleep and overall athlete performance. UA Athlete Recovery Sleepwear was developed in collaboration with Under Armour athlete Tom Brady, who credits sleep as one of the most important components to his training regimen.
“I firmly believe that sleep and recovery are critical aspects of an effective and holistic training program,” says Tom Brady. “Proper sleep has helped me get to where I am today as an athlete and it is something that I continue to rely on every day. I am excited to partner with Under Armour to bring game-changing sleepwear with the same bioceramics technology I use, to athletes all around the world.”
